Nota biografica |
Despite being a follower of the archaeologist, dealer and painter Gavin Hamilton, it does not seem that Camuccini visited Great Britain, if not perhaps in 1827. Like his brother Piero, he enjoyed the friendship of Sir Thomas Lawrence, who drew a pencil portrait of him, from which Pietro Bettelini made a print (British Museum, London). |
