Ancora ventenne, eseguiva illustrazioni per riviste inglesi: dal 1893 al 1898, diverse furono pubblicate su “The Graphic”. A Venezia, frequentava un ambiente cosmopolita entrando in contatto con personaggi più americani che inglesi, fra i quali James McNeill Whistler, John Singer Sargent e Henry James. While still in his twenties, he made illustrations for various English and American publications: “The Graphic” reproduced several from 1893 to 1898. According to one source, towards the end of the century, Tito visited London almost annually.  In Venice, he frequented a very cosmopolitan circle, more American than English, including Whistler, Sargent and Henry James. He exhibited Ricordi di Londra (Souvenirs of London) in Venice in 1909.
